TONIGHT 2/22 - Northrup's Literacy Night at 6PM

Join us TONIGHT for Northrup's Let's Go Camping Literacy Night! There will be fun activities for students of all ages (TK-8th) starting at 6PM on Zoom.

During the event, students will get to choose which teacher-led Zoom room activities to join. There will be games, stories, and lots fun!

All attendees will receive 10 GLAD Bucks. Registration is not required.

The event Zoom link was sent home on a green paper flyer a few weeks ago. Can't find the flyer? The Zoom link was also sent in the Principal's weekly email.

Family Literacy Night! - Sign-up TODAY to receive a treat!

Northrup's going camping... for Family Literacy Night!

Join us online on Tues Feb 22 at 6 PM for fun for all ages. Students will be able to choose fun & exciting activities from different teacher-led activity rooms.

Valentine's Day Shop - Volunteers Needed Thu 2/10 & Fri 2/11

Valentine's Day is approaching, and the PTA Valentine's Day shop will be open for students on-campus on Thursday 2/10 and Friday 2/11 during school hours. Teachers will be bringing their classes to the store, so we need volunteers to help set-up, run, and support young shoppers.

Most shifts last 1 hour (morning set-up 1.5 hours). Sign up (https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0e4daaaf28a3f5c52-valentines) for as many shifts as you're interested in.

Because the event is on-campus, the school is requiring that volunteers have (1) AUSD volunteer clearance, (2) COVID vaccinations, and (3) PTA membership.

Join Next Year's PTA Board!

The ability of the PTA to make an impact at the school and to enrich the educational and social experience for students is predicated on parent volunteers.  One way, but the not the only way a parent can contribute to the PTA's mission is to serve on the PTA Board.  As a Board member, you can be involved in the organizing and planning of school events and play a key role in their success.  The Northrup PTA is seeking parent participation in being a part of the PTA Board for the 2022-23 academic year.  If you have an interest or have questions about available positions or commitment required, please email info@northruppta.org by February 18th. Elections will be held before the end of this school year.

Valentine's Day is coming! The PTA will host a Valentine's Day Shop on-campus next Thurs & Fri (2/10 - 2/11).⁠ Students can buy items, like stuffed animals ($2-8), key chains, squishies, & bracelets. ⁠
