Northrup School & the Northrup PTA need your help!
Improvements in COVID-19 rates have allowed the District to relax restrictions and welcome volunteers back to campus!! Hooray!
To ensure the well-being and safety of all our students, volunteers must submit to the Front Office:
- A completed volunteer form (https://ausd.edliotest.com/AUSD-VolunteerSiteRegistrationFormRevised%202020%20Fillable.pdf or available at the Front Office)
- Photo Identification (e.g., Driver's License, State ID, etc.)
- Proof of TB testing (valid for 3 years from testing date)
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
- Fingerprinting/background check (If a first-time volunteer with AUSD)
Parents must register with Northrup each year to keep their volunteer status updated. Those who had completed their fingerprinting/background check and were active in the 2019-2020 school year (pre-COVID) will not need to re-do their background checks. This includes those whose students transferred from Marguerita.
Please keep in mind that you must register with Northrup in order to stay active and avoid having to do fingerprinting in the future.
We have heard that many parents are looking for ways to get involved -- especially since the campus is otherwise closed to parents. The PTA will soon be looking for help with some exciting upcoming events and volunteer opportunities on campus. Please complete your District volunteer registrations to be eligible to participate on-campus.
P.S. We may also have non-on-campus volunteer opportunities. But it's always more fun to be on-campus and with the students!
